Killeen Holiday Hoopla

(KILLEEN, TEXAS): Downtown will play host to a new event Saturday, Dec 8 called Holiday Hoopla. The public is invited to take part in a day full of festive fun at the Killeen Arts & Activities Center (KAAC) and Green Avenue Park & Farmers Market.
The KAAC Performing Arts Center will open for a free 1 p.m. screening of A Christmas Story. It will also host a concert at 7:30 p.m. by Nick Toons teen sensation Malachi Cohen and special guests, the Veggie Pals.
Merry Market Day at Green Avenue Park & Farmers Market opens at 2 p.m. and offering produce from local farmers, food vendors, and arts and crafts vendors. There will also be musical performances throughout the afternoon.
Santa will take pictures and listen to wish lists in Clements Auditorium from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
The 50th annual Killeen Christmas Parade will wind through downtown at 4:30 p.m. The route is different this year due to downtown street construction.
